ONE OF MY IMAGES HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN LIFE FRAMER "OPEN" CALL EDITORS' PICK
My image "Museum" has been selected as Editors' pick for the OPEN call competition.
This is what the Life Framer website wrote about my photo:
"This is a very unusual composition that makes you look multiple times and search for clues everywhere, which is something every photographer wants to achieve. It is simple, yet artful, geometric, yet familiar, colorful, yet subtle, a magical overlay of layers and visual elements. The surprising black hand, although small, is a powerful focal point. This is an image that’s impossible not to think of long after your eyes have moved on."

WINNER OF THE AMATEUR STILL LIFE CATEGORY AT THE 2024 CHROMATIC AWARDS
I got the 1st place with my image "Rosehips" in the international photography contest CHROMATIC AWARDS in the Still Life category.
Chromatic Awards is an international competition of color photography open to both professionals and amateurs.
Participation in the Chromatic Awards offers not only prestige, but also the opportunity to win extra money for the development of passion.
Their mission is to provide artists the opportunity to share their passion and stories through their photographs, promote the world's top photographers, and discover new, emerging talents.
This is what the Deartline website wrote immediately after the announcement of the winners of the 2024 Chromatic Awards about my photo:
"Luca’s still life transforms simple rose hips into a vivid display of color and form using the Pep Ventosa technique. The resulting image is a celebration of nature’s beauty and an artistic exploration of light, texture, and repetition."

ROSEHIPS

These rose hips are part of one of the roses I have grown from seed in my garden. The rose is particularly productive. I used the Pep Ventosa technique to enhance the effect of the myriad of small red balls.
